What you need to do as a student volunteer: Work for 8 hours (distributed in shifts) during the course of the conference under supervision of the local chairs. Work involves (but is not limited to) transporting materials, attending to registrations at the desk, running between various sessions to help the session chairs, content creation for social media, etc.
What you get in return as a student volunteer: Your conference registration fee is waived. We ask you to register normally and once you have been selected, we will waive your registration fee. The travel and accommodation cost remains at your own expense.
To be eligible as a student volunteer: We require proficiency in English and a current registration as a student at an educational institute.
Applications received before July 18, 2016 will receive full consideration. In case of more applications than positions we will randomly make a selection. Notification of acceptance will be before July 25th, 2016 so that early-registration is still possible. Early registration closes on July 31, 2016.
Update 24 July 2016: You can no longer register. The deadline has passed.
If you have any questions, please contact the local arrangement chair: Jan van Gemert (firstname.lastname@example.org).
